Andrew Edeker President
Andrew Edeker brings twenty years of television and multi-media production experience to Production One Media having created over 500 hours of award-winning, original broadcast programming.
His career began in the Chicago market producing a variety of programs for Comcast earning him a CableAce nomination for the long running cooking show "tv dinner." He went on to produce the Emmy Award-winning "UP’N Running" for WPWR-TV in Chicago and KTVD-TV in Denver as well as a numerous educational and information shows.
In 2005, Mr Edeker started an eight-plus year relationship with Tawani Enterprises as Director of Events at the Pritzker Military Museum & Library and then President of Jumpmaster Productions, broadcasting over 350 episodes of Pritzker Military Presents for WYCC-TV, Citizen Soldier for WTTW, and over 500 hours of live webcasts. The success of these programs contributed to the Museum being awarded the 2009 National Medal for Museum & Library Service. Additionally, Mr. Edeker’s work on the Medal of Honor Convention Opening Ceremonies was acknowledged with a Regional Emmy Award in 2010.
At Production One Media, he has lead productions at multiple national conventions (PCMA, HIMSS, APICS) and has worked with high profile corporate clients (Barns & Thornburg LLC, Brinks Gilson Lione LLC, Piper Jaffray, BMO-Harris Bank, AMA)
Mr. Edeker received a BA from the University of Iowa in Communication Studies: TV & Film and in Theatre Arts.
David Cannek Production Director
David Cannek is the Production Director and Managing Partner at Production One Media. An Emmy Award Winning Producer and accomplished Director and Music Composer, he has worked on over 250 productions broadcast on WTTW-11 and WYCC-20 over his career.
After graduating from Columbia College, David worked with Harkins Productions where he honed his audio engineering skills and started directing and recording video for live music and stage productions.
The Pritzker Military Library hired him in 2006 where he directed the long-running television program, the Pritzker Military Library Presents and was nominated for three Chicago/Midwest Regional Emmy Awards, including a nomination for Best Original Music Composition. His work was also recognized as Official Honoree at the Webby Awards for live webcasts in 2007 and 2008.
In 2009, the Library’s production department was spun off into its own company, Jumpmaster Productions. David continued to direct, edit and produce programs for the Pritzker Military Library as well as work with numerous corporate clients like Legal Marketing Association, The Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation, State Farm, United Way, USO and American Medical Association.
