An international team of distinguished Scientists, Educators, and Explorers embarked on a six-week expedition to study the icy ecosystems Antarctica.  This stunning documentary follows this Expedition from the planning meeting in Vienna, Austria to Antarctica's Schirmacher oasis, and for the first time ever, exploring the waters of the perennially ice-covered Lake Untersee to the follow up presentation at
Chicago's Field Museum.
